# NOVA vs SolveCard

The clearest difference is rating: SolveCard at 5.0 against NOVA's 4.3. SolveCard also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). NOVA's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and chart position (#148 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and SolveCard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SolveCard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NOVA ships an update every 3 weeks, SolveCard every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
