# NOVA vs Thirstii

NOVA and Thirstii both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Thirstii's written reviews are positive against 37% of NOVA's. Thirstii also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). NOVA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 14). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Thirstii asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for NOVA against 4.4 for Thirstii.
