# NOVA vs Tribes

The clearest difference is rating: Tribes at 5.0 against NOVA's 4.3. NOVA's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Tribes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tribes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
