# NOVA vs IT

The clearest difference is rating: IT at 5.0 against NOVA's 4.3. IT also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). NOVA's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and chart position (#161 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. IT asks for nothing beyond the download.

IT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NOVA ships an update every 3 weeks, IT every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
