# Nonsense vs VocalGYM

The clearest difference is ads: VocalGYM at none against Nonsense's shown. VocalGYM also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). Nonsense's advantage is ratings volume (407 vs 5) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nonsense sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and VocalGYM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nonsense holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nonsense has 407 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nonsense ships an update every 4 weeks, VocalGYM every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
