# AromaPlus vs iDogCam View

The clearest difference is rating: iDogCam View at 4.2 against AromaPlus's 2.2. iDogCam View also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). AromaPlus's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 5) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iDogCam View holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AromaPlus has 46 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
