# VisualEyes vs Flowstate

The clearest difference is rating: VisualEyes at 4.8 against Flowstate's 2.7. VisualEyes also leads on ratings volume (407 vs 3). Flowstate's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 73%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisualEyes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flowstate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VisualEyes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisualEyes has 407 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of VisualEyes's written reviews are positive against 83% of Flowstate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VisualEyes ships an update every 2 weeks, Flowstate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
