# LockWidget vs Bias Widgets

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bias Widgets at freemium against LockWidget's subscription. Bias Widgets also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). LockWidget's advantage is ratings volume (28K vs 2) and chart position (#210 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockWidget sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Bias Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bias Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LockWidget has 28K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LockWidget ships an update fortnightly, Bias Widgets every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
