# Globe Earth 3D vs Tornado Position Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tornado Position Tracker at free with in-app purchases against Globe Earth 3D's subscription. Tornado Position Tracker also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0). Globe Earth 3D's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 16) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Globe Earth 3D sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Tornado Position Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tornado Position Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Globe Earth 3D has 1.1K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Globe Earth 3D's written reviews are positive against 0% of Tornado Position Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
