# EVCS vs chargemetric

The clearest difference is rating: EVCS at 2.8 against chargemetric's 1.0. EVCS also leads on ratings volume (116 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EVCS holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EVCS has 116 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
