# Demotu vs WristCoach

The clearest difference is rating: WristCoach at 5.0 against Demotu's 4.1. WristCoach also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8). Demotu's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 5) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Demotu sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $30.00 per month. WristCoach asks for nothing beyond the download.

WristCoach holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Demotu has 50 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Demotu ships an update fortnightly, WristCoach every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
