# Work Hours vs Flex

The clearest difference is ads: Work Hours at none against Flex's shown. Work Hours also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Work Hours sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flex sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Work Hours ships an update every 3 days, Flex every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
