# GFUELER vs Captain D's

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GFUELER at 100% against Captain D's's 35%. GFUELER also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and device support (3 vs 1). Captain D's's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GFUELER sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Captain D's asks for nothing beyond the download.

Captain D's holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Captain D's has 36K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GFUELER's written reviews are positive against 35% of Captain D's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GFUELER ships an update every 2 weeks, Captain D's monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
