# Lek vs AI Assistant

The clearest difference is rating: Lek at 4.6 against AI Assistant's 4.0. Lek also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (83 vs 2). AI Assistant's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lek sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and AI Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lek holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lek has 83 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Lek's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI Assistant's.

Lek ships an update every 3 weeks, AI Assistant every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
