# Lek vs Time Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Lek at free with in-app purchases against Time Tracker's subscription. Lek also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). Time Tracker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lek sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Time Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Lek against 4.5 for Time Tracker. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 83 and 112 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Lek's written reviews are positive against 64% of Time Tracker's.

Lek ships an update every 3 weeks, Time Tracker weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
