# Ultimate Magnet vs Eggs and Chickens

The clearest difference is rating: Eggs and Chickens at 3.4 against Ultimate Magnet's 2.5. Eggs and Chickens also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.5). Ultimate Magnet's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 5) and review sentiment (8% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Magnet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Eggs and Chickens sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eggs and Chickens holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Magnet has 54 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Ultimate Magnet's written reviews are positive against 0% of Eggs and Chickens's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ultimate Magnet ships an update every 8 days, Eggs and Chickens every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
