# Cursive vs Mindflow

The clearest difference is rating: Mindflow at 5.0 against Cursive's 4.5. Mindflow also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 65%). Cursive's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cursive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mindflow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindflow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cursive has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Cursive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mindflow's.

Cursive ships an update every 5 weeks, Mindflow every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
