# Cursive vs Passaroo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Passaroo at fortnightly against Cursive's every 5 weeks. Cursive's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cursive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Passaroo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cursive ships an update every 5 weeks, Passaroo fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and August 22, 2026 respectively.
