# Lock Screen Launcher vs Launcher

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Launcher at 100% against Lock Screen Launcher's 60%. Launcher also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Lock Screen Launcher's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Launcher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Launcher asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lock Screen Launcher holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Screen Launcher has 139 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Lock Screen Launcher's written reviews are positive against 100% of Launcher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lock Screen Launcher ships an update every 8 days, Launcher every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
