# Spencer’s Nation vs PSD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PSD at 90% against Spencer’s Nation's 11%. PSD also leads on rating (4.9 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (13K vs 326). Spencer’s Nation's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PSD holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSD has 13K ratings behind it against 326, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of Spencer’s Nation's written reviews are positive against 90% of PSD's.

Spencer’s Nation ships an update monthly, PSD every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
