# Roadit vs wherethis

The clearest difference is ads: wherethis at none against Roadit's shown. Roadit's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roadit sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year and wherethis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roadit ships an update every 9 days, wherethis fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
