# xZoom Cam vs DualCap

The clearest difference is rating: DualCap at 5.0 against xZoom Cam's 4.4. DualCap also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). xZoom Cam's advantage is ratings volume (578 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. xZoom Cam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and DualCap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DualCap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: xZoom Cam has 578 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

xZoom Cam ships an update fortnightly, DualCap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
