# Get The Word! vs BlockNovaGame

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlockNovaGame at fortnightly against Get The Word!'s every 20 months. Get The Word!'s advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Get The Word! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BlockNovaGame sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Get The Word! ships an update every 20 months, BlockNovaGame fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
