# My Folio vs Astrysk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Astrysk at every 8 days against My Folio's every 2 months. Astrysk also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Folio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and Astrysk sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Folio ships an update every 2 months, Astrysk every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
