# Elev8tion vs the biostation

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Elev8tion at 46 against the biostation's 8. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Elev8tion against 5.0 for the biostation. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elev8tion has 46 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Elev8tion ships an update every 2 months, the biostation every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
