# PDF Editor vs FileMaster Pro

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Editor at 4.1 against FileMaster Pro's 3.8. FileMaster Pro's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Editor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and FileMaster Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Editor holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FileMaster Pro has 100 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
