# Checklist Widget vs Checklists

The clearest difference is update cadence: Checklist Widget at every 2 weeks against Checklists's every 3 months. Checklist Widget also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Checklists sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checklist Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist Widget has 342 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Checklist Widget's written reviews are positive against 89% of Checklists's.

Checklist Widget ships an update every 2 weeks, Checklists every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
