# Checklist Widget vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Checklist Widget at 94% against PrepChecklist's 50%. Checklist Widget also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (339 vs 7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checklist Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist Widget has 339 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Checklist Widget's written reviews are positive against 50% of PrepChecklist's.

Checklist Widget ships an update every 2 weeks, PrepChecklist fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
