# Checklist Widget vs Checklist Ultra

The clearest difference is ads: Checklist Widget at none against Checklist Ultra's shown. Checklist Widget also leads on ratings volume (334 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Checklist Ultra's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Checklist Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Checklist Ultra sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Checklist Ultra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checklist Widget has 334 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Checklist Widget ships an update every 2 weeks, Checklist Ultra every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
