# Meme Instants vs Lizard Button

The clearest difference is ads: Lizard Button at none against Meme Instants's shown. Lizard Button also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Meme Instants's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meme Instants sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lizard Button sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Meme Instants holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 537 and 332 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Meme Instants's written reviews are positive against 86% of Lizard Button's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meme Instants ships an update every 2 weeks, Lizard Button every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
