# Awakened Way vs HeartMath

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Awakened Way at none against HeartMath's 2. Awakened Way also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). HeartMath's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 469). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeartMath sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $79.00 per year. Awakened Way asks for nothing beyond the download.

HeartMath holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeartMath has 4.7K ratings behind it against 469, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Awakened Way's written reviews are positive against 74% of HeartMath's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Awakened Way ships an update every 5 days, HeartMath every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
