# TicDown vs CCTik

The clearest difference is ads: CCTik at none against TicDown's shown. CCTik also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). TicDown's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TicDown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and CCTik sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CCTik holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TicDown has 3.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TicDown ships an update every 5 weeks, CCTik every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
