# R vs Bahn Destinations

The clearest difference is update cadence: R at every 6 days against Bahn Destinations's every 6 weeks. R also leads on iOS requirement (16.5 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. R sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bahn Destinations sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

R ships an update every 6 days, Bahn Destinations every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
