# DIY Solar System vs GPT Solar System Explorer

DIY Solar System and GPT Solar System Explorer both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of DIY Solar System's written reviews are positive against 0% of GPT Solar System Explorer's. DIY Solar System also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). GPT Solar System Explorer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPT Solar System Explorer has 95 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DIY Solar System's written reviews are positive against 0% of GPT Solar System Explorer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
