# Yoodoo vs Iter8

The clearest difference is update cadence: Iter8 at every 3 days against Yoodoo's fortnightly. Iter8 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Yoodoo's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yoodoo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Iter8 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Iter8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yoodoo has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yoodoo ships an update fortnightly, Iter8 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
