# OSM Scout vs Career Mode Tracker

OSM Scout and Career Mode Tracker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of OSM Scout's written reviews are positive against 75% of Career Mode Tracker's. OSM Scout also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Career Mode Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OSM Scout sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Career Mode Tracker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OSM Scout holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Career Mode Tracker has 69 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of OSM Scout's written reviews are positive against 75% of Career Mode Tracker's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
