# PingPath vs Phos

The clearest difference is update cadence: Phos at every 3 weeks against PingPath's every 2 months. Phos also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PingPath sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Phos sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PingPath ships an update every 2 months, Phos every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
