# Day Counter widget vs MyerList

The clearest difference is rating: Day Counter widget at 4.8 against MyerList's 4.1. Day Counter widget also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (94 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Counter widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and MyerList sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day Counter widget holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Day Counter widget has 94 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Day Counter widget's written reviews are positive against 85% of MyerList's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Day Counter widget ships an update weekly, MyerList every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
