# Bantee vs gVault

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: gVault at none against Bantee's 1. gVault also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Bantee's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (73 vs 6). On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bantee sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. gVault asks for nothing beyond the download.

gVault holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bantee has 73 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Bantee ships an update every 10 days, gVault monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
