# BePresent vs Sun Mapper

BePresent and Sun Mapper both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 69% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sun Mapper's. BePresent also leads on ratings volume (70K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Sun Mapper's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BePresent sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Sun Mapper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sun Mapper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePresent has 70K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sun Mapper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BePresent ships an update every 5 days, Sun Mapper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
