# BePresent vs Birthday Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Birthday Countdown at 100% against BePresent's 68%. Birthday Countdown also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). BePresent's advantage is ratings volume (67K vs 28) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BePresent sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Birthday Countdown sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birthday Countdown holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePresent has 67K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 100% of Birthday Countdown's.

BePresent ships an update every 5 days, Birthday Countdown fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
