# BePresent vs Echo Focus

The clearest difference is rating: BePresent at 4.8 against Echo Focus's 3.0. BePresent also leads on ratings volume (67K vs 2) and review sentiment (68% vs 50%). Echo Focus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BePresent sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Echo Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BePresent holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePresent has 67K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 50% of Echo Focus's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
