# BePresent vs TripWorks

The clearest difference is rating: BePresent at 4.8 against TripWorks's 3.7. BePresent also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). TripWorks's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BePresent sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. TripWorks asks for nothing beyond the download.

BePresent holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePresent has 72K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 100% of TripWorks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BePresent ships an update every 5 days, TripWorks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
