# BePresent vs Kite

The clearest difference is ads: Kite at none against BePresent's shown. Kite also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and device support (3 vs 1). BePresent's advantage is ratings volume (71K vs 4) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BePresent sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Kite sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePresent has 71K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of BePresent's written reviews are positive against 100% of Kite's.

BePresent ships an update every 5 days, Kite every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
