# FlipClock vs Stress Matrix

The clearest difference is ads: Stress Matrix at none against FlipClock's shown. Stress Matrix also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 19 months). FlipClock's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlipClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stress Matrix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlipClock ships an update every 19 months, Stress Matrix daily. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
