# LockInNote vs iNote

The clearest difference is ads: LockInNote at none against iNote's shown. LockInNote also leads on device support (4 vs 2). iNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockInNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and iNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockInNote ships an update every 2 months, iNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
