# My RCS vs Octopusworkapp

The clearest difference is update cadence: Octopusworkapp at every 10 days against My RCS's every 24 months. My RCS's advantage is iOS requirement (12.3.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My RCS ships an update every 24 months, Octopusworkapp every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
