# almentor vs Learning

The clearest difference is monetization model: Learning at free against almentor's free with in-app purchases. almentor's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (106 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. almentor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $21.99 per month and Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

almentor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: almentor has 106 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

almentor ships an update fortnightly, Learning every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
