# Merge Master vs Craft Slasher

The clearest difference is rating: Craft Slasher at 4.8 against Merge Master's 4.3. Craft Slasher also leads on ratings volume (675 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merge Master sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Craft Slasher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Craft Slasher holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Craft Slasher has 675 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Merge Master ships an update every 4 months, Craft Slasher every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
