# Hidden camera detector |Finder vs Smart Camera connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hidden camera detector |Finder at 82% against Smart Camera connect's 29%. Hidden camera detector |Finder also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 34) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Smart Camera connect's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hidden camera detector |Finder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Smart Camera connect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Camera connect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden camera detector |Finder has 1.9K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Hidden camera detector |Finder's written reviews are positive against 29% of Smart Camera connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hidden camera detector |Finder ships an update every 2 months, Smart Camera connect every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
